A published author in our midst
A resident story teller finds her passion for writing and puts smiles on young faces.
From Bupa Berwick
Lucy Blasi, our resident at Bupa Berwick, has always been a talented storyteller and most recently she has been pursuing her passion through the local library by taking part in their writing course.
It has always been a dream of Lucy’s to have one of her creative stories published and she was thrilled that the team at Bupa Berwick were able to make this a reality.
Through a truly team effort, a lot of passion and Mary Mihalic on keyboards, Lucy Blasi’s labour of love ‘The Food Hunt’ was no longer a dream.
‘The Food Hunt’ has become Lucy’s first published book and has been selling fast at Bupa Berwick.
Telling the tail of Papa Mouse taking his four children on a food hunt and teaching them how to avoid booby traps and, most importantly, Marmalade the Cat, ‘The Food Hunt’ is a heart-warming story that will keep you in suspense.
To celebrate this phenomenal achievement, Bupa Berwick held a book launch where Lucy was on hand to sign copies of her first ever book, with all proceeds going to the Cancer Council.
Lucy what an outstanding achievement - Everyone at Bupa Berwick is proud!
