Bupa Seaforth Medical and Wellbeing Centre is a modern centre offering GP consultations, physiotherapy, podiatry, allied health services and nursing services to the local community.
The service is open to the general public, so you don’t have to be a Bupa health insurance member to visit our GPs and allied health professionals.
Children up to the age of 12 years are bulk billed for GP consultations.
Note for Bupa Overseas Visitors and Students
Please be advised we will be increasing our fees to include an out-of-pocket expense for all Bupa Overseas Students and Visitors to ensure we are able to continue providing quality service to all our valued patients.
COVID-19 Important Information
At the Bupa Seaforth Medical and Wellbeing Centre we take the health and safety of patients and team members very seriously. As the situation with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has evolved, so has the way our centre continues to serve you.
Our GPs, nurses, physio and podiatrist are available to see patients in the clinic.
However, GPs are also available for telehealth consultations during the current COVID-19 situation. Please call us to make your appointment.
Also, please call ahead to our Medical and Wellbeing Centre on 02 9197 7304 to let us know of your symptoms and your travel or contact history if you:
Have had contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19
Have arrived in Australia from overseas in the last 14 days
Are feeling unwell with flu like symptoms such as fever, cough or sore throat
This is so we can put in place precautionary measures in our practice, to protect you, staff, and others attending the centre at the same time. If possible please wear a surgical mask when travelling from home to the centre. GP - Dr Toby Locke
Dr Locke graduated from King's College London in the UK in 2011, and moved to Australia in 2013. He has worked as a GP since 2019 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has many years of Emergency Medicine experience, and also works part time at the Urgent Care Centre at Mona Vale Hospital.
Dr Locke strives to provide personalised and high-quality care across all areas of General Practice, and is passionate about helping his patients lead happy and healthy lives. He has special interests in men's health, chronic disease management, preventative health, skin cancer, and minor surgery.
Dr Locke works at the Medical and Wellbeing Centre on Wednesdays and Fridays.
GP - Dr Eamonn Sheerin
Dr Sheerin graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2009. After 2 years of hospital training in the UK he worked at North Sure Private, Manly and Mona Vale hospitals, and Royal Princes Alfred in various critical care specialties.
Since 2019 he underwent GP training in Jervis Bay, finishing in 2021 and subsequently moved back to the Northern Beaches.
Physiotherapist - Kunal Wood
Kunal Graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Sports & Exercise Science prior to completing his masters in Physiotherapy.
He has been treating patients in the Northern Beaches area and has extended his field of expertise by working with professional athletes, including being physio for the AFL umpires, to residents of nursing homes and everyone in between.
Kunal focuses on treating patients to relieve pain and getting back to what they like to do. Kunal uses multiple techniques to achieve this including massage, manual therapy for joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, stretching, muscle strengthening and conditioning, dry needling, ergonomic assessment and posture correction.
Treating Back and neck pain, acute sports injuries, chronic and re-current injuries, pre and post surgical conditions, headaches postural conditions (work related), upper and lower limb injuries. He is trained in TMJ focused physiotherapy helping with the jaw and neck muscles to reduce muscular fatigue and improve core strength.
Kunal enjoys keeping fit and healthy by surfing or working out at the gym, which has influenced his strong interest in exercise prescription and shorts physio. He is motivated to work with you, helping you to maintain your health, fitness and mobility and to recover from injury.
