Bupa Ashbury, one of Bupa’s modern aged care homes located in NSW, welcomed volunteers and students at a recent outing to celebrate New Year’s Day.

Bupa Ashbury's wonderful volunteers returned from their holidays to spend quality 1 on 1 time with aged care residents.

The volunteers organised a fun day out for Bupa Ashbury residents in the local area to celebrate New Year’s Day. The residents enjoyed a delicious lunch in the local RSL club and an afternoon tea stop discussing new year’s resolutions.

The residents then went out for sightseeing, short walks in the park, socialising with other residents and word games.

These are just a few of the many recreation activities that Bupa Ashbury offers. Residents of this Sydney based care home can get involved in different activities such as cultural and spiritual activities, exercise classes and movies.
