Our home is set within the beautiful hinterland of the Shoalhaven Coast. Just 15 minutes from the coast, Berry is a picturesque village of arts, history, cafés and boutiques. With a spacious terrace overlooking the vista of mountains and rural pastures our home emulates the charm of the region.
Outdoors we have a large terrace with a BBQ, overlooking the stunning scenery of the local area. We have four resident communities each with their own courtyard, offering a relaxing outdoor space for catching up with friends and family.
Meanwhile indoors, we have a delightful range of cosy lounges and dining rooms as well as a communal café and small kiosk. These areas are designed with tasteful decorations to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We believe that there’s only one way to care, your way. That’s why we take the time to get to know you, so we can tailor your care to help support you in the way that you prefer.
You can be confident that we’ll be there for you when you need us with access to a registered nurse 24 hours a day, a CCTV security system and an easy-to-use nurse call system.
We are committed to constantly improving care and we are currently working closely with local universities on important research into aged care medication.
At Bupa Berry, we value the experience of passionate registered nurses and carers who are committed to providing the care you need, in the way you want.
Our role isn’t just to care for you when you’re sick but also to help you stay healthy. You’ll have access to a podiatrist, an optometrist, audiologist, a pet therapist, dentist and an art therapist.

You can even get pampered at our 'Forever Young' salon with hairdressers and beauticians visiting our home twice a week.
At Bupa Berry, we pride ourselves on providing a fresh seasonal menu and a choice of cuisine at every meal with the help of our dietician. We value your input, and strive to make sure that your preferences are reflected in our menus as much as possible.
Everyone can enjoy a hot breakfast twice a week and we like any excuse to celebrate with sausage sizzles, buffets or afternoon teas. You will also enjoy our themed events like our Rock’n’Roll, Milkshake Ice Cream days.
We know how important keeping in touch with your family is. We welcome your friends and family at any time, giving you and your loved ones flexibility and peace of mind that they can pop by to visit you whenever they’d like.
Here, your loved ones can join you for a meal, a drink or even just a cup of tea. If there’s a special occasion that you would like to celebrate with your family and friends, you can celebrate in style in our private dining room. And for occasions like Christmas we invite everyone’s family for a big Christmas party.
At Bupa Berry we often hold or take part in community events so you can continue to be a part of the local community. Recently we have hosted a raffle, became a destination of the local mystery bus tour, held an exhibition for residents’ art work, and our care home team and relatives took part in the Tour de Berry.
With our own Bupa bus you can enjoy regular outings into the local community. We arrange beach trips, shopping trips, visits to local tourist attractions and a favourite is going out for lunch or afternoon tea in one of the local eateries.
We also hold church services every Sunday led by different denominations each week, including Catholic, Anglican and Presbyterian.
Moving into a care home is a big decision and it’s important to make sure you choose the payment option that suits you best. Your costs may vary according to your financial situation and we advise you to seek independent financial advice before entering an aged care home to help you choose the right payment option for you.
To help ensure that care is affordable for everyone, the Australian Government calculates and regulates maximum daily fees and enforces limits as to how much you can be asked to pay for accommodation.
Your fees for aged care cover both the care you receive and your accommodation, and sometimes, extra services.
Your care fees cover daily living costs such as nursing care, housekeeping and meals. They are paid, in part, by all residents and are determined by the Department of Social Services.
For residents entering care after July 1 2014, you can choose from three simple ways to pay for your accommodation.
These options allow for more flexibility on how you pay for accommodation and are designed to be fairer for everyone.
You can visit the web page of your chosen care home on the Bupa Aged Care website and click on the “Accommodation” tab.
Some aged care homes offer a higher standard of accommodation, food and service in return for a daily fee. Whether you are in an Extra Service home or not, the quality of your care remains the same.
For people who need regular assistance with most daily activities
For people who need accommodation services such as laundry, room cleaning and additional help with personal care.
Offers residents a higher standard of accommodation, services, food and recreational activities.
