Indoors we have a delightful range of communal areas and activity rooms. They are tastefully decorated, and have large windows that bring in plenty of natural light.
Meanwhile, outdoors we have landscaped gardens with flowering trees and shrubs. There is also a courtyard area with BBQ for your enjoyment.
This facility does not have a fire sprinkler system installed in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000. This regulation requires a fire sprinkler system to be installed in this facility by 1 March 2016.

Our team of Activities Officers are committed to providing you with a wide range of activities, including:
At Bupa Bexley, we pride ourselves on providing a fresh seasonal menu and a choice of cuisine at every meal with the help of our dietician. We value your input, and strive to make sure that your preferences are reflected in our menus as much as possible. Once you have made yourself at home, a member of our catering team will discuss your food preferences and dietary requirements. This will help our chefs know how to tailor your meals.
We encourage family and friends to get involved in everything that’s happening at our home, including cultural days, concerts, and special events like Easter, Chinese New Year, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Christmas parties.
Our resident-relative BBQs are a great way for us to get to know your family better, as are our resident-relative meetings. These meetings are also a good opportunity for you to let us know how things are going for you and your family.
If there’s a special occasion, such as a birthday you would like to celebrate with family and friends, you can use our private dining room. Here, your loved ones can join you for a meal, a drink or even just a cup of tea.
At Bupa Bexley, you can be confident that you’ll continue to be connected to the local community with regular outings; including:
As well as taking trips outside the care home, we appreciate the support of volunteers from local schools and church groups who visit the home. They bring to the home entertainment, fun activities and lots of laughs. If you prefer quieter time, they often enjoy a relaxed chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
To support your spiritual needs, we receive regular visits from a range of religious groups including Catholic and Greek Orthodox, who can help ensure that your beliefs are well catered for.
Moving into a care home is a big decision and it’s important to make sure you choose the payment option that suits you best. Your costs may vary according to your financial situation and we advise you to seek independent financial advice before entering an aged care home to help you choose the right payment option for you.
To help ensure that care is affordable for everyone, the Australian Government calculates and regulates maximum daily fees and enforces limits as to how much you can be asked to pay for accommodation.
Your fees for aged care cover both the care you receive and your accommodation, and sometimes, extra services.
Your care fees cover daily living costs such as nursing care, housekeeping and meals. They are paid, in part, by all residents and are determined by the Department of Social Services.
For residents entering care after July 1 2014, you can choose from three simple ways to pay for your accommodation.
These options allow for more flexibility on how you pay for accommodation and are designed to be fairer for everyone.
You can visit the web page of your chosen care home on the Bupa Aged Care website and click on the “Accommodation” tab.
Some aged care homes offer a higher standard of accommodation, food and service in return for a daily fee. Whether you are in an Extra Service home or not, the quality of your care remains the same.
